Why correct photos?

The pictures of your babies are turning yellow. The photos of you grandparents are so faded or dark you can hardly see any details. This is just what happens to photographs as they age. The papers and chemicals they used to use to print photographs react to heat, light and air and leave your photos discolored, faded or dark. Or perhaps whoever took the photograph didn't understand the concept of framing the main subject in the viewfinder and filled the top half of the photo with the sky.
